CM & DCM – Systems for Doypack handling

Automated solutions for handling doypack and flat bags during the loading and unloading of racks used in pasteurization or sterilization processes.

The system covers the entire operational flow, from inserting the pouches into the racks to reintroducing them back into the line at the end of the process, ensuring continuity, precision, and reduced manual handling.

HOW I T WORKS -

The pouches are automatically loaded into the racks via the CM system (basket loader), ensuring an orderly and uniform arrangement for thermal processing.

After the autoclave process, the DCM system (basket unloader) removes the pouches from the racks and transfers them to subsequent stages, such as drying or cartoning.

The entire cycle is designed to operate continuously and in synchronization with the production lines.

OPERATING PRINCIPLE -

Stacks of racks are introduced into the machine and automatically managed by centering, lifting, and conveying systems.

The pouches are:

picked using dedicated suction cups
arranged in rows
placed into or removed from the racks depending on the process stage

The racks are automatically stacked, handled, and prepared for the next cycle.

Handling is performed by Cartesian systems, ensuring precision and long-term reliability.

MODULAR CONFIGURATION -

The system can be configured according to specific production requirements:

Combined gripping head (pouches + racks)
Separate multi-axis systems for high-speed operation
Multi-pick configurations to increase productivity

SAFE OPERATION -

The system is divided into separate safety zones, with light curtains and interlocked access points, ensuring operator protection and uninterrupted production.

PLC-controlled system with a touch-screen HMI interface, enabling:

Data collection and integration with enterprise systems.
